  • Properly manage all information changes that are associated with a BOM from entering changes to creating an ECN
  • Review nameplates and order them in timely manner

  • Create point-to-point wiring diagrams from given schematics and front views

Requirements of the ideal candidate:

  • Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent practical experience

  • Machine Operators - Duties include: operating a variety of fabrication equipment such as laser cutting machines, plasma cutting machines, press brakes, plate rolls, saws, drills and shears. In addition, candidates must be able to read blueprints, use measuring tools and devices, and possess some computer skills. Vocational training or previous experience is a plus.
  • Production Assemblers - Duties include: performing all mechanical, hydraulic and electrical assembly for BOSS Snowplow Products; operating machinery required for paint and assembly processes. Fork lift experience is a plus.
  • Contract Assemblers - Duties include: installing control devices, instruments, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, transformers, bus bars and other such devices in control panels and enclosures; preparing and assembling shipping crates; transporting and storing stock, packaging products for shipment including loading of product onto trucks; and fabricating large equipment enclosures (e.g. erecting walls and trusses, interior and exterior sheeting, installing trim, insulating, etc.).
  • Wiring Persons - Duties include: installing wiring into electrical control and relay panels. Applicants should be able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams, and use standard hand tools. Vocational training or previous wiring experience is necessary.
  • Welders - Duties will include: welding and grinding products; drilling, tapping, and cutting parts as required for fabrication of products; performing scheduled maintenance and cleaning of weld equipment. Vocational training in MIG welding or previous MIG welding experience is required of all candidates. Experience with robotic welding equipment is a plus.

  • Primary point of contact with customer during bid preparation. This involves clarifying specification requirements and verifying bid scope. Also includes follow-up on submitted proposals for status and/or clarifications
  • Develop detailed cost estimates (including labor costs and obtaining material quotations) from customer Request for Quotations. Data provided in RFQs can vary from detailed drawings and bills of material with component part numbers to limited details, i.e., one-line drawings and/or concept descriptions/specifications. With limited details, task can involve selecting components to meet the RFQ requirements and adding auxiliary items not shown on the one-line drawing to complete a functional system
  • Prepare price and technical proposals for customer submittal. This includes preparation of standard proposal letters, bills of material, and supporting data or completing/preparing customer structured bid responses
  • Minimal travel involved for meetings at customer locations and taking part in marketing exhibits/conferences to showcase Systems Control's products
